De Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool detecteert veelvoorkomende problemen die van invloed zijn op de installatie of updates van Microsoft .NET Framework. Het hulpprogramma kan een of meer wijzigingen aanbrengen in de geïnstalleerde versie van .NET Framework. Het kan bijvoorbeeld de status van Windows Installer op uw computer verbeteren, discretionaire toegangsbeheerlijsten (DACL's) voor specifieke mappen vervangen of problemen oplossen die verband houden met onjuiste of beschadigde updateregistratie.
Offline ondersteuning
De .NET Framework Repair Tool biedt een optie om de versies van .NET Framework die op uw computer zijn geïnstalleerd te herstellen (stap 3 van de procedure in het gedeelte Recovery Tool Options). De tool vereist herdistribueerbare bestanden om ervoor te zorgen dat deze versies beschikbaar zijn op het moment van reparatie. De tool downloadt deze pakketten standaard van internet tijdens de reparatie. Als uw computer een beperkte of geen internetverbinding heeft, moet u de offlinemodus gebruiken voor reparatie. Stille modus en passieve modus
Alle functies van de reparatietool kunnen worden geautomatiseerd door de tool in stille of passieve modus uit te voeren. Dit heeft als voordeel dat er geen gebruikersinteractie nodig is om de tool uit te voeren. Dit is vooral handig voor grote implementaties waarbij systeembeheerders de tool kunnen configureren (via de opdrachtregel) en logboeken kunnen verzamelen van specifieke locaties.
Gegevens verzamelen
Naast het verzamelen van diagnostische informatie over de installatie, verzamelt de .NET Framework Repair Tool ook informatie over het gebruik van hulpprogramma's. Gebruiksgegevens worden gebruikt om de kwaliteit van de .NET Framework-reparatietool te verbeteren en installatiegegevens worden gebruikt om de installatie van .NET Framework te verbeteren. Microsoft heeft dit bestand gecontroleerd op virussen. Er is virusdetectiesoftware gebruikt die volledig up-to-date was op de datum waarop het bestand werd gedeeld. Het bestand wordt opgeslagen op beveiligde servers die ongeautoriseerde wijzigingen aan het bestand helpen voorkomen.
AandachtDe gegevensverzamelingsfunctie maakt een gecomprimeerd .NET Framework-installatielogcabbestand. Na het verwerken van de records, maakt de tool een .cab-bestand met de naam "FixDotNet*.cab" of iets dergelijks en slaat het op op het bureaublad van de huidige gebruiker (indien uitgevoerd in UI-modus) of op een opgegeven locatie. Nadat u op de wizard hebt gekliktCompleetklikken, wordt een .cab-bestand met records verzonden naar Microsoft.
Het bestand FixDotNet*.cab blijft op uw bureaublad staan (of op een specifieke locatie), ongeacht of u ervoor kiest om gegevens naar Microsoft te sturen of niet.
